Seasons of my Essence

Everyone, everyone has a favorite season, if you don’t…. figure it out.

My first favorite is Autumn, followed by spring.

There is something that has always stirred my soul while living my moments in these two seasons, I believe it to be death and re-birth, – an end and a beginning

an opportunity to right the wrongs, an opportunity to see the miracle in all things living, forever.

My seasons kind of solidifies my belief that life does have a balance, a balance that we humans never pay attention to until, it is in our Face, then we are like, “oh shit”, look at how beautiful those leaves are, without caring that they are dying and how we won’t see them until the re-birth, and the sad thing is, we never, really, bear witness nor fully bask in the birth of the greenery when Springs makes its grand entrance, breaking through the crisp, cold winter.

Autumn and Spring – why these two? because, for me, they breathe life and remarkable beauty, always gifting me bouquets.

(excerpt from “Soul Searching for Peace”)

Anxiously waiting for the sun to rise on a crisp spring morning, the sky, a vibrant hue of Orange, takes my breath away.

Listening to the ocean waves splash against the rocks on a warm summer afternoon, soothes my soul, ever so gently.

Watching the leaves whirl from tree top to roof on a windy autumn day with colors of Copper and Gold and scarlett reds, captivates and showers me with happiness.

Lifting my face towards the winter sky as fresh snowflakes caress my skin and cleanse my soul, filling me with Hope.

You are the beauty of my sunrise, you always take my breathe away.

The spirited waves always calm and soothe my soul.

The vibrant colors filled with riches always surprise me, and keep me happy.

You are the sparkle, the Miracle of every snowflake, always different, yet, always the same…

Always filling me with Hope.

I write this as winter is quickly approaching or in some places has officially arrived and me, missing the autumn magic as I sit in Florida, and am saddened that I did not bear witness to the majestic deep reds, bright yellows, golden copper colors that give a festive fiesta to my heart.
