“December is the twelfth and final month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and is the seventh and last of seven months to have a length of 31 days.

December got its name from the Latin word Decem (meaning ten) because it was originally the tenth month of the year in the Roman calendar, which began in March. The winter days following December were not included as part of any month. Later, the months of January and February were created out of the monthless period and added to the beginning of the calendar, but December retained its name.”

December, the 12th month in my century, the Month believed to be the birth month of Christ, the month that saw the birth of Janet, of Jason & Stephanie.

December the month of Holiday Joy and Holiday Sorrow – of family time, of loneliness.

December is the reminder of an end of a year that either brought you great achievements and/or great wounds. Decem, the last month to sit, alone with your thoughts, emotions, and reasoning and review your moments through-out 2018 and really, like truly connect with all your achievements, successes, attempts and failures.

When you do this from your Soul, this is when you can connect, with your Spirit, this is when you can allow all that you have lived in these last 12 months to flow through your veins, to purge all that did not serve you. This is also when you learn all that actually was meant for you and how it can be sewn into the tapestry of your being, where in the next year, you can grow into the never-ending beauty of a botanical garden full of color, scents and a diversity of difference that will enhance the growth of your mind, of your heart, of your Spirit.

December marks the end of a year that was either Phenomenal or Mediocre, the close of a season, the end of a year that should make you want more, to learn more about you, about the mechanism of your being. TO GROW!

If, you had a mediocre life in 2018, shame on you – it was absolutely your choice!

All I can suggest for the New Year is to Heal from within, Grow from within & Be that Baddass No-Nonsense Gladiator that causes the Sparkle in your own damn eyes.

Be the best version you are supposed to be in 2019.
