Rearview 2020

My experience in 2020 was a WOW one.

2020 taught me that at any age I can and will be placed in time out.

2020 has reminded me that I have become a pro at placing the pieces of my shattered heart back together with love, Because of this, I have mastered the Kintsugi practice of repairing myself into a Magical Wonder of acceptance and Peace.

2020 taught me, that all we need, to live in joy, peace, and self-understanding is to practice living a minimalist lifestyle, along with keeping the distance of persons we valued whom did not value us, and the not so much even liked persons – at a safe distance.

I’ve learned that human nature is a tricky little fucker and in order to co-exist we must first root ourselves in the knowing of acceptance – accepting the fact that not everyone is for you, and that you must, absolutely must, BE FOR YOURSELF FIRST.

In being present in Your moment and Owning your Now – you will learn to soften your outlook on other peoples behavior and this mi gente, will help you understand that everyone you might encounter is going through something that does not involve you. You just happened to be present at a moment in their chaos.

Stop taking shit personally.

I lived my life fully awake, everyday of 2020, I learned that the loneliness I had entertained, was simply the absence of myself.

I forgave myself for feeling weak as I turned certain corners and danced in circles, for falling in love when I did. I realized that I made a wise choice by choosing to care 24/7 for my mom with schizophrenia and dementia by bringing her to live with me in Florida at the start of the pandemic. I understood that I have a right to feel overwhelmed and angry sometimes, and through those chaotic moments, I also chose to wake up every morning with gratitude in my heart and a smile on my face and handle my unscripted day.

2020 played a pivotal role in assisting me in developing a green thumb – I became a farmer. Not a farmer of agriculture, I became a farmer of Spiritual Health and fed my body organic nutrients made with seeds of soothing words and positive actions, by dropping down to my knees and becoming one with Earth, by allowing myself to first take inventory of my crop, by putting in the work, I became the best damned Gardener of my Universe. The Gardener of my Life.

A farmers life is the best routine to follow;

1. A Good Night’s Sleep

2. The Power of Routines

3. Know Your Deadlines

4. Managing Money

5. Finding Creative Solutions.
